AutoCAD Detailed 3D Model Conversion
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need my existing 2D technical drawings turned into full-featured 3D CAD solids. The models will feed directly into our design-and-development workflow, so every measurement, draft angle, and assembly interface has to match the original drawings exactly.
Level of detail: highly detailed with complex features—think fillets, ribs, snap-fits, and any hidden geometry that a plastic part would normally include. Because the parts are injection-moulded plastics, wall thicknesses, bosses, and ribs must be modelled with realistic manufacturing considerations. If you’re comfortable modelling other materials such as metals or composites, that flexibility is welcome, but plastics accuracy is non-negotiable for this project.
Deliverables
• Native AutoCAD 3D solid model (.dwg)
• STEP file for cross-platform use
• A quick viewport layout or screenshot confirming critical dimensions
Acceptance criteria
• All dimensions match the supplied 2D drawings within ±0.1 mm
• No open surfaces—model must validate as a closed solid in AutoCAD
• Plastic features (ribs, bosses, fillets) mirror industry-standard draft and radii from the drawings
• File opens error-free in AutoCAD 2022 or later
