I run a company that manufactures automotive accessories and I’m looking for a skilled AutoCAD specialist who can take the 3D OBJ scans of original passenger-car floor mats that we supply and remodel them to match our proprietary design. Your revised models will be used directly for mold production, so accuracy and manufacturability are critical.
For every mat you receive, you’ll need to:
• Interpret and clean up the OBJ scan.
• Re-engineer the geometry in AutoCAD, reproducing our exact dimensions, edge finishes, and surface patterns.
• Return a production-ready file (DWG or the format we agree on) plus a quick viewport screenshot for visual verification.
We have several dozen molds in the pipeline and intend this to be an ongoing collaboration, so consistency and efficient turnaround matter just as much as pure modeling skill.
