Project description
I need 10 separate Australian-standard aluminium beverage can models produced in both native editable CAD format and STEP/STP format.
The required models are:
Classic cans
250 mL
330 mL
355 mL
375 mL
440 mL
473 mL
500 mL
Sleek cans
250 mL
330 mL
355 mL
I can provide the exact measurements, technical specifications, dielines and detailed reference photographs for every can size. I can also provide an existing Australian 375 mL Classic STEP model as a quality and geometry reference.
Each model must accurately represent the corresponding Australian can, including:
Body diameter and overall height
Shoulder and neck profile
Base profile
Lid and top rim
Seams and external detailing
Pull ring
The models must be created using the measurements and supplier specifications I provide. Dimensions must not be estimated from volume or copied from generic overseas can models.
Required versions
Each can must be delivered in two versions:
A clean, unbranded solid CAD and STEP/STP model with accurate Australian can geometry.
A branded, render-ready version with the supplied yourCans logo and artwork correctly wrapped around the can.
I will provide the yourCans logo and artwork in vector format. The branding must be correctly scaled, positioned and wrapped without stretching, distortion or visible seams.
The yourCans branding should be applied as artwork, decals, textures or materials suitable for high-resolution rendering. It must not be embossed or physically built into the solid geometry unless specifically agreed.
As STEP/STP files may not reliably retain decals, textures or printed artwork, the branded versions must also be supplied in the native CAD or rendering format with all linked artwork and texture files included.
The models will be used in an online 3D packaging and artwork platform and may also be used for marketing renders and basic animation.
Deliverables
10 fully editable native CAD files, preferably SolidWorks, Inventor or Fusion 360
10 matching solid STEP/STP files
10 branded render-ready model files
All linked yourCans artwork and texture files
Separate can body and pull-ring parts where appropriate
Front, side and top screenshots of each completed can for approval
Clearly named individual files for every can size
Clean solid geometry, not mesh-only models
No unresolved external references
Acceptance criteria
All supplied dimensions must be accurate within ±0.2 mm.
Each STEP/STP file must open as valid solid CAD geometry without errors.
The native files must remain editable and contain no unresolved references.
The yourCans logo and artwork must be correctly scaled and positioned.
Branding must remain sharp and free from stretching, distortion or visible seams.
All 10 cans must have a consistent level of detail and visual quality.
Each size must be delivered as a separate, clearly named file, even if shared master models or configurations are used.
One initial can model must be completed and approved before work begins on the remaining nine models.
Suggested milestones
Milestone 1: One completed sample can for review and approval
Milestone 2: Completion of all Classic can models
Milestone 3: Completion of all Sleek can models
Milestone 4: Branded render-ready files, final corrections and complete source-file handover
Please outline your preferred CAD software, relevant experience, total fixed price and estimated turnaround time for the complete set.
Upon final payment, all intellectual property rights and full commercial ownership of the completed models, native source files, STEP/STP files, branded files, renders, textures and derivative work must transfer exclusively to yourCans.
