Aluminium Extrusion 3D Models
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have several hand-drawn sketches for custom aluminium extrusion profiles and need them converted into production-ready CAD. Each profile must be modelled with precise, documented dimensions, then assembled in 3D so I can verify clearances and overall fit before I run a quick 3D-print check and, ultimately, send the files to the extrusion shop.
You will start from my scans/photos of the sketches, interpret all measurements, create clean 2D drawings, and build fully detailed 3D geometry. After that, assemble the parts virtually and share screenshots or a short viewable file to confirm everything nests together exactly as intended.
Deliverables
• Manufacturing-grade 2D drawings for every profile, including dimensions and tolerances
• Parametric 3D model files plus STL exports for rapid prototyping
• A single assembled model showing fit and any critical interfaces
Once the models pass the on-screen fit test I’ll print them, give feedback if tweaks are needed, and then release the final set to the fabricator.
