Air-to-Air Intercooler End-Tank Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need a fully detailed CAD design for an aluminum, air-to-air intercooler end tank that will fit a performance-car core. The goal is smooth airflow, minimal pressure drop, and weld-ready geometry that a fabricator can take straight to production.
Core dimensions, packaging constraints, and target boost levels will be shared once we have an NDA in place. I already have the vehicle’s available space envelope and mounting points; your job is to translate those into an optimized tank shape, include bead-rolled hose outlets, and integrate any sensor bungs I specify.
Deliverables
• 3D CAD model (STEP + native file)
• 2D fabrication drawings with weld symbols and tolerances
• CFD snapshot or brief report showing pressure and velocity distribution
• A short revision loop after first review to fine-tune clearances and outlet angles
Please use mainstream tools such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar so files stay editable on my side. Accuracy, manufacturing realism, and tidy file organization matter more to me than fancy renders—though a simple render to confirm fitment would be useful.
