Agricultural Sprayer Quadcopter Design

Job ID: 39900002

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need a complete quadcopter concept tailored for crop-spraying operations. The goal is to walk away with a build-ready package I can hand to a local fabricator or assemble myself.

Scope
• Airframe: structural layout sized for a liquid tank and pump, including nozzle positioning that achieves even coverage.
• Propulsion & power: motor/prop/ESC selection, battery sizing, and estimated flight time with a full chemical load.
• Electronics: recommended flight controller and sensors, plus wiring diagram.
• Documentation: 3D CAD files (STEP or similar), exploded views, and a detailed bill of materials with supplier links.
• Firmware outline: guidance on tuning and integrating common features such as automated route planning or variable spray rates so I can add them later.

What I’m looking for
– A designer or engineer experienced in UAV platforms, preferably with prior agricultural payload work.
– Practical choices that balance cost, durability, and ease of sourcing parts.
– Clear justifications for calculations (thrust-to-weight, endurance, pump flow, etc.) so I can verify and iterate.

Deliverables are considered complete when I receive the CAD package, BOM, wiring diagram, and a short PDF explaining performance estimates and setup steps.

Let me know if you’ve built or flown similar rigs and how quickly you can turn around the first draft.
