Windows PC 3D Stylized Sci-fi Shooter
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I'm looking for a talented game developer proficient in Godot engine. I need a 3D third person shooter/looter game with a Sci-fi theme. Here's what you'll be working on:
- Creating a 3D world: You will be responsible for developing the game environment, characters, and assets in a stylized Sci-fi art style.
- Implementing third-person mechanics: A solid understanding of third-person shooter mechanics is necessary to ensure smooth gameplay and engaging combat.
- Looter game elements: The game should include looter mechanics such as procedurally generated loot, gear, and a leveling system.
Game Loop:
- Preparation: Customize and equip your character and spaceship.
Choose a planet to invade based on its difficulty and potential loot.
- Travel: Navigate through space, encountering random events such as asteroid fields, space pirates, and derelict ships.
Encounter enemy AI ships defending their territories. Decide whether to fight or avoid them.
Find other online players. Choose to ally with them for cooperative play or engage in PvP combat.
- Invasion: Land on the planet and engage in third-person shooter combat against local enemies.
Complete objectives such as capturing bases, defeating bosses, or rescuing hostages.
- Loot: Collect gear and resources from defeated enemies, hidden caches, and mission rewards.
Evaluate and manage your inventory to decide what to keep, upgrade, or sell.
- Return to Base: Head back to your space station or home base.
Upgrade your ship and gear, craft new items, and prepare for the next mission.
- Progression: Unlock new planets, missions, and gear as you progress through the game.
Engage in side quests and activities to gain additional rewards and story insights.
Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in Godot engine is a must.
- Proficiency in GDScript or C#
- Prior experience creating 3D games, particularly in a stylized art style.
- Strong understanding of shooter and looter game mechanics.
- A keen interest in Sci-fi themes and storytelling.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative working style.
