Video Editor with Animation Skills for Kids Science YouTube Channel
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
We’re looking for a creative and skilled video editor with animation experience to join our team for a YouTube channel focused on fun and engaging science experiments for kids.
You’ll be working with raw footage of our host (the scientist) performing experiments alongside his sidekick and their pet. Your role is to turn this into exciting, easy-to-understand videos that make science fun and engaging for young viewers.
Each episode will be 10–15 minutes long and will feature 3 different science experiments, so strong pacing and the ability to keep content engaging throughout is very important.
Your animations should be colorful, playful, and help simplify scientific concepts while adding personality to the characters.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience in video editing and animation (3D animation preferred)
Ability to create fun, engaging, and kid-friendly visuals
Strong storytelling and pacing skills
Ability to simplify and visually explain science concepts
Experience editing for YouTube (a plus)
Responsibilities:
Edit raw footage into engaging 10–15 minute YouTube episodes
Structure each episode clearly around 3 experiments
Add animations, effects, and graphics to enhance storytelling
Highlight interactions between the scientist, sidekick, and pet
Use sound effects, music, and visuals to keep kids entertained
Ensure videos are clear, fun, and educational
