Project: 3D Modeling and Printing of a Functional Shower Head with a decoration. Attached image is close to the actual project. Examle STL for the decoration available.
I'm looking for an expert in 3D modeling and 3D printing to create a functional, printable 3D model of a crown shower head.
Requirements:
Moderate Detail: The shower head model should have enough detail to be visually interesting and functional but not overly intricate to ensure practicality in 3D printing.
The showerhead may be adapted if open source model can integrated as a basis. Ideal: use of a modified open-source or standard model with the flower attached to the outside, only affecting the outside.
Material Compatibility:
Outer shell: ABS
Optional B): Nozzles: TPU (flexible)
OR C) silicone
Printability: The final result must be a fully functional 3D-printable shower head.
Development Stages (Optional Progression):
Stage A:
Single functional shower head, especially the head, handle, attachment and arm. physically reasonably balanced when held or attached to standard wall holder.
Standard 1/2 inch thread attachment.
Integrated handle to fit into standard shower holders.
Stage B:
Everything from Stage A.
Additional TPU nozzle insert, installable through a detachable front of the shower head.
Stage C:
Everything from Stages A + B.
Rotatable shower head setting to adjust nozzle/flow speed, allowing the user to vary shower intensity.
Stage D: Adaption for silicone mold production (A, B or C)
Deliverables: full CAD manufacturing-ready files ( STL, OBJ, ...)
+ 50€ Bonus if shower head could be successfully printed by a professional 3d printing company & is tested with water flowing through it.
Ideal skills and experience:
+ Proficiency in 3D modeling software (e.g., Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Blender).
+ Experience creating functional models for 3D printing.
+ Good understanding of material properties (especially ABS and TPU) and printing techniques.
+ Ability to balance detail, functionality, and printability.
+ Bonus: Knows a better solution than the proposed stages.
