Need to 3D composite a Tentacle out of a Man's mouth that attacks a woman.
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a skilled 3D animator to create a semi-realistic 3D composite of a tentacle coming out of a man's mouth and attacking a woman. The scene will be used in a horror setting, so a dark and eerie tone is required.
Here is a link to the most recent rough edit. If you look at 4:12 in the video link below, the idea is for the man to pull the tentacle out of his mouth in the mirror. It then tries to grab the girl and drag her across the floor. She then stabs the tentacle, and it dies.

This is for a short film competition it was a two-week competition and my 3D guy vanished. It is all amateur, so it isn't a terrible critical audience, and it is a chance for someone to almost practice compositing skills with a premade 3-D rigged model.
Everyone so far has worked very hard on the 5-minute short horror film, and we hope we don't have to pull out of the competition. But the worst news is that the deadline is Noon on October 4th.
Skills and experience needed:
- Proficiency in 3D animation software (such as Maya or Blender)
- Experience in creating realistic textures and materials
- Understanding of horror aesthetics and the ability to create a sense of suspense and fear
- Attention to detail to ensure the tentacle's movement and interaction with the characters looks natural and believable
The specific color and texture preferences for the tentacle are open to the animator's suggestion, as long as it aligns with the horror theme. The project has a specific time frame, so the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines is crucial.
The festival release is attached which is required by all participants.
