Locate Dumped Game Assets
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have a full dump of a console game sitting in cloud storage and I simply need the right pair of eyes to dig through it and pull out three things only: the animations, the 3-D models, and every sound file. The archive is already extracted, so the job is pure file-tree sleuthing rather than any heavy reverse-engineering.
What you will receive
• A link to the complete game dump (several gigabytes, standard folder structure).
• Any filenames or hash lists that came with the dump, if they help.
What I need back
• A clearly written note (txt, PDF, or Markdown) listing the exact folder paths for each animation, model, and sound you locate.
• A zipped copy of those assets, or separate download links, so I can grab them immediately.
• A quick explanation of any proprietary formats you run across, since I’m not yet sure whether they’re FBX/DAE, OBJ/3DS, WAV/MP3, or something custom.
Acceptance criteria
1. All animations, models, and sounds present in the dump are accounted for—no missing assets.
2. Folder paths and asset counts match what is actually delivered.
3. Delivery within a day or two: I expect this to be a fast turn-around job.
If you’re comfortable navigating unfamiliar console file structures—perhaps using tools like AssetStudio, QuickBMS scripts, or even raw hex searches—this should be a straightforward gig. Let me know when you can start and I’ll send over the link right away.
