Learn to Operate Home 3D Printer
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m about to step into 3D printing and want hands-on coaching focused specifically on operating a printer in a home setting. My main goal is to master day-to-day use—everything from unboxing, calibration and slicing files through to safe post-print removal and routine maintenance.
I haven’t settled on a machine yet, so I need someone who is equally comfortable with popular desktop FDM and resin models and can guide me toward best-fit hardware while still keeping the lessons brand-agnostic. Once the printer arrives, I’d like clear, practical instruction that lets me print reliably without wasting filament or resin. Screen-share or live video is ideal so I can follow along in real time and ask questions as issues crop up.
Deliverables
• Two live sessions (about an hour each) covering setup, first successful print, and troubleshooting basics
• A concise reference sheet listing recommended slicer settings, maintenance intervals, and safety tips tailored to the printer we choose
• One follow-up Q&A chat within a week of the final session to iron out any lingering problems
