High-Detail 3D Site Visualization
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I have a set of 2-D engineering drawings for a development site that show the cut-and-fill contours and full topographic lines. I need these plans transformed into a high-detail 3-D visual display with realistic rendering and textures suitable for presenting to Council.
The finished model should clearly express the proposed landform changes while drawing the viewer’s eye to two key aspects:
• the change in topography post development, and
• all visible infrastructure such as roads and detention basins.
Expect colour-accurate materials, believable lighting, and a level of realism that lets stakeholders grasp both the aesthetics and the grading logic at a glance. I will supply the PDF engineering set, contour data from the DA. I can povide it as a google earth overlay as well if that helps. If you prefer a particular terrain-modelling or rendering package—Civil 3D, SketchUp + V-Ray, Lumion, Twinmotion, or similar—let me know; I’m flexible as long as the output looks polished.
Deliverables
1. A fully textured 3-D model (native file plus an interchange format such as FBX or OBJ).
2. Two to three high-resolution stills from the most useful viewpoints (minimum 4 K).
3. A short fly-through or orbit animation (30–60 sec, MP4 or MOV) that can be played in meetings.
Acceptance criteria: the terrain must match the engineering spot elevations, cut/fill volumes must visually correspond to the plan, and all highlighted elements must appear in a client-ready state without placeholder geometry.
Tell me your preferred workflow, estimated turnaround, and any example visuals from similar projects you’ve produced.
