Generate 3D profile of a Pipeline inspection survey - Merge ply files
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
My project requires a freelancer to merge a number of PLY files using MeshLab or similar to generate a 3D survey of a pipeline/conduit survey and convert the final merge into an OBJ file. The number of files is 614 (Length Approx 306m), a sample of 20 of the files have been attached.
Currently each of the reference files load to the same point location, however each of the survey points is actually captured every 0.5m along the pipeline.
The files provided are already cleaned and ready for merging.
The successful freelancer must have prior experience with 3D file manipulation, as well as a good understanding of MeshLab/or equivalent and its capabilities.
The result should be a finalized OBJ file that is ready for 3D viewing in meshlab or similar that results in a 3D pipeline render along the length of the survey.
Time is of the essence for this project, so please only bid if you have the necessary skills to complete the task quickly and accurately.
