3D Fantasy Cartoon Creature Design and free

I’m developing an original 3-D animated cartoon and need a talented character specialist to invent the cast of fantasy creatures who will carry the story. I don’t enjoy drawing myself, so I’m looking for someone who can handle the full creative side of character creation—from ideation through polished visuals—while I focus on the writing and production.

Style & tone
• The animation will be fully 3-D, so the designs must translate cleanly into modelling and rigging.
• The characters are fantasy creatures; however, they aren’t tied to the usual medieval, sci-fi, or strictly mythic settings. Think of it as an open canvas: “nothing world” means you have freedom to define their environment, anatomy and cultural flavour as long as they feel cohesive together.

Core expectations
• Initial thumbnail sketches to explore silhouettes and personalities.
• Refined, coloured turnarounds (front, side, back) for each approved creature.
• A short written bio per character covering temperament, abilities and any visual logic.
• Source files in a format suitable for onward 3-D modelling (PSD, CLIP, or equivalent layered files).

Nice-to-have (let me know if you can provide)
• 3-D block-outs or high-poly sculpts in Blender, ZBrush or similar.
• Texture or material call-outs for the modelling team.

Timeline & workflow
We’ll start with one hero character; once that’s approved we’ll expand to the supporting cast. I’ll give prompt, detailed feedback at every stage so you’re never left guessing.

Note this thing is very simple. There is no need for someone to come and want money. Making the characters is not tiring. I am the one who will draw in the first place, so there is no need for me to give money.
