Dynamic Homepage Animation and Icon Design
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
Animated hero graphic + 4 service icons for consulting website homepage
Skills needed: Motion graphics · After Effects / Lottie / CSS/SVG animation · Icon design
Overview
We need a skilled motion designer to create two deliverables for the top of a consulting firm's homepage: (1) a hero animation and (2) four matching service icons. Both must be web-ready and integrate cleanly into a modern website.
Deliverable 1 — Hero animation
A looping animation that tells a visual story: complexity → clarity → action.
Sequence:
1. A tangled, colourful 3D ball (available) of threads fills the frame — representing a client's unresolved challenge (reference images provided).
2. The ball unravels, and four distinct threads separate out one by one, each in a defined colour.
3. Each thread resolves into a clean, recognisable shape that corresponds to one of our four services.
Thread colours and services:
Blue · Board Advisory
Crimson/Burgundy · Strategy Alignment
Green · Leadership Development
Yellow/Amber · Culture & Wellbeing
Technical requirements:
• Web-optimised output: Lottie JSON preferred, or CSS/SVG animation; fallback MP4/WebM acceptable
• Seamless loop, minimum 1920×1080 at 60fps
• White or transparent background
• Smooth, professional easing — not mechanical or stiff
Deliverable 2 — Four service icons
Four custom icons — one per service — in the same thread/wire-line style as the hero animation. Each icon must:
• Use the assigned colour above (monochrome per icon, matching its thread)
• Be delivered in SVG + PNG (transparent background, minimum 512×512px)
• Work both as a standalone static icon and as a still frame/endpoint of the animation
• Match the visual reference icons provided (style reference image attached)
Reference images: style guide icon sheet, 3D ball design, animation flow example — all provided upon project start.
What we expect in your bid
• Portfolio examples of motion graphics, particularly thread/organic animation or icon design
• Proposed tool/format for delivery (After Effects + Lottie, CSS animation, etc.)
• Realistic timeline with key milestones
Time-sensitive. We are working to a live website deadline. Please only bid if you can commit to the timeline. Fast, clear communication is essential.
