Design a Cute Cloud Character Lamp that
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I'm looking for a talented product designer with CAD or 3D modeling skills to create a whimsical cloud character that goes around an existing light bulb and attaches to a wall and the cloud covers the light coming out, bringing a cool design that has lights coming out of it. It's a cloud with yellow lightning, where light shines through translucent plastic to create colorful lighting effects. This lamp should be suitable for a wide age range (1-25 years) and also powered by a battery with built-in LEDs to make the design more detailed. If possible most of it should be made of plastic. But the Product of the cloud itself should be translucent plastic, so the light could go through it, and it brings a character like coming out of it.
Key Requirements:
• A product design of the cloud lamp
• A universal mounting mechanism that includes:
- A rotatable locking system (similar to a bottle cap)
- A standard universal mounting cap that attaches to the character part
• Material recommendations for a translucent, lightweight, kid-safe plastic
• If possible, a ready-to-manufacture prototype design
• Optionally: guidance on how to create molds or prepare files for 3D printing/injection molding
Deliverables:
• 3D files (STL or STEP format)
• Exploded view of assembly
• Engineering drawings
• Suggestions for prototyping or small-batch manufacturing
Ideal candidates will have experience in product design, particularly with kid-friendly products, and have the ability to create detailed and clear engineering drawings.
