Commercial Ambient Lighting Design

I’m refreshing a commercial property that contains three distinct zones—a lounge-style living room area, a staff kitchen and a series of bedroom-inspired suites for clients—and I need an experienced lighting designer to shape the overall ambience. The goal is to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that still feels polished and professional throughout all three spaces.

I will supply floor plans, ceiling heights and photographs as soon as we start. From you, I’m looking for a complete concept that balances visual comfort with energy efficiency—fixture selection, placement, dimming strategy and colour-temperature recommendations included. Dialux, Relux or similar light-calculation tools are fine as long as the final package is clear and ready for my electrical contractor to implement.

Deliverables I expect:
• A scaled lighting plan with fixture tags
• Fixture schedule with manufacturer specs and lamp details
• Simple 3D or rendered visuals illustrating the ambient effect in each zone
• Switching / dimming circuit notes that match the plan
