3D City Model Player Integration
Budget: $35 – $60 USD
I have a 3D city model (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xtd3_VsEVEM) that includes cars and 55 characters, all with animations for standing, walking, and running. The standard task is to make one of the characters controllable with a third-person camera. The result should be a 3D city with simulated pedestrians and car traffic, imitating a living city, and a player who can walk around the city with the camera positioned behind them.
Key tasks:
- Integrate basic character movements (walk/run) with third-person camera.
- Create a blend of pedestrian and car traffic that behaves both randomly and on specific paths.
- Ensure the player has no environment interaction.
- Implement collision detection for the player and environment.
- Optimize the 3D city model for performance to ensure smooth gameplay.
- Integrate ambient sounds and effects to enhance the immersive experience.
Ideal candidates should have:
- Proven experience in 3D modeling and animation.
- Solid understanding of character control in a 3D environment.
- Ability to simulate realistic city traffic and pedestrian movement.
We will be using the Unity game engine for this project.
