Blender Facial Animation Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I have a fully rigged 3D head in Blender and a three-minute reference video with clean audio. Your task is to bring that face to life with subtle, believable acting that reflects the spirit and emotion of the original performance. The animation should feel natural and grounded, but it doesn’t need to replicate the video frame by frame. The lip-sync—particularly the mouth and lips—should be well-timed and expressive.
The reference clip is there to inform your sense of timing, rhythm, and tone, not to be copied directly. You’ll be hand-animating the performance, so what matters most is maintaining consistency and realism throughout the full three minutes.
If you have strong examples of facial work in Blender, can manage your own timeline reliably, and take pride in detailed, expressive animation, let’s talk timeline and milestones.
Deliverables
• A clean, non-destructive Blender file with the completed facial animation
• A playblast or preview render synced to audio for quick review
• A final, render-ready scene after revisions are complete
Once we agree on delivery dates, I’ll share the rig, audio, and reference video. I’m excited to see how you interpret and animate this performance.
