3D Animation of Wine Fermentation Device
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
Job Title
3D Technical Product Animation Video — 2-Minute Video for an Innovative Wine Fermentation Device
Project Description
I am looking for a skilled freelance 3D animator / motion graphics designer to create a professional 2-minute technical video for a confidential corporate presentation.
The video will present an innovative device for wine fermentation processes: an immersive sensor-equipped rod inserted into a tank/fermenter. The device integrates several functions in one system, including oxygen injection, dosing of process substances, local measurement of process parameters, gas diffusion, and possible localized physical actions on the fluid.
This is not a generic promotional wine video. It must be a serious, clean, technical product animation that clearly explains how the device works.
Existing technical drawings of the rod device will be provided as reference. The freelancer will not need to invent the device from scratch, but should use the drawings to recreate it visually in 3D or semi-3D.
Main Goal of the Video
The goal is to explain, in a clear and visually professional way, that the device allows dosing and measurement in the same local area of the fluid.
In traditional systems, dosing and measurement may happen in different points of the tank. With this device, oxygen and process substances can be injected while local parameters are measured near the injection point. This provides more representative data and better control of the fermentation process.
What the Video Should Show
The video should clearly show:
the rod device externally, as a realistic technical product;
a 3D or semi-3D visualization of the rod;
the main components of the rod with callouts/labels;
the rod inserted into a wine fermentation tank/fermenter;
the internal fluid represented as wine or fermenting must;
oxygen being injected through the rod;
process substances / nutrients / enological coadjuvants being injected through the rod;
local diffusion inside the fluid, using microbubbles or clean technical visual effects;
the local sensor positioned near the injection point;
data being collected in the same area where the intervention takes place;
optional waves, vibrations, or pulses to represent localized physical actions on the fluid;
a final section showing the main benefits of the device.
Suggested Video Structure
Total duration: approximately 2 minutes.
0–20 seconds — The Problem
Show a fermentation tank and explain visually that, in traditional systems, dosing and measurement can happen in different areas of the tank.
Key message: the measured data may not accurately represent the area where the intervention actually takes place.
20–50 seconds — Device Presentation
Show the rod device externally, preferably with a 3D or semi-3D technical render.
Include callouts/labels for the main components.
50–90 seconds — Device Inside the Tank
Show the rod inserted into the fermentation tank, immersed in wine or fermenting must.
Focus on:
oxygen injection;
injection of process substances / nutrients;
local sensor near the injection point;
local data collection in the same area where dosing occurs.
This is the most important part of the video.
90–110 seconds — Gas Diffusion and Localized Actions
Show gas/oxygen diffusion inside the fluid using microbubbles or clean technical effects.
If possible, also show localized physical actions such as waves, vibrations, pulses, or similar subtle visual effects.
110–120 seconds — Final Benefits
Close with the main benefits:
dosing, measurement, and action integrated in one device;
more representative local data;
better control of the fermentation process;
more effective interventions;
application to wine fermentation processes.
Main Components to Represent
The device includes the following elements:
Electrical connection
Inlets for nutrients / coadjuvants / oxygen
Injection point
Physical action tool / actuator
Gas / oxygen diffuser
Local in-line sensor
External tank sensor
External sensor cable
Electronic board / data processing module
These components should be represented with clear callouts where appropriate.
Visual Style Required
The video should be:
technical and professional;
3D or semi-3D;
modern, clean, and industrial;
suitable for a confidential corporate presentation;
based on clear product visualization, not generic stock footage.
Preferred visual style:
dark blue, white, teal/technical light blue, and steel grey colors;
clean lighting;
realistic or semi-realistic technical rendering;
clear callouts and short on-screen texts;
smooth camera movements;
elegant representation of oxygen bubbles and liquid diffusion.
Please avoid:
cartoon style;
generic wine/vineyard promotional visuals;
random AI-generated footage;
excessive sci-fi style;
unrealistic machinery;
visuals that do not match the technical drawings;
overly flashy effects.
Materials I Will Provide
I will provide:
existing technical drawings of the rod device;
reference images showing the external shape and the main components;
numbered legend of the components;
short technical description of how the device works;
visual style references;
possible voice-over text to be developed together.
The 3D model does not currently exist, so the freelancer should be able to recreate a 3D or semi-3D representation of the device starting from the provided technical drawings.
All materials are confidential and must be treated as such. Before sharing complete technical documentation, I may require confirmation of confidentiality or an NDA.
Required Deliverables
The freelancer should provide:
scene-by-scene storyboard before full production starts;
visual style proposal;
narration / voice-over script;
optional short animatic or initial draft;
final video in MP4 format;
16:9 aspect ratio;
Full HD or 4K resolution;
version with music and voice-over;
if possible, version without voice-over;
if possible, editable source files.
Freelancer Requirements
I am looking for someone with experience in:
3D technical product animation;
industrial videos;
motion graphics;
product visualization;
corporate presentation videos;
fluid / bubbles / diffusion effects;
transforming technical drawings into clear and credible animations.
When applying, please include:
relevant portfolio examples;
estimated cost;
estimated delivery time;
number of revisions included;
software used;
whether editable source files can be provided;
whether you can create the 3D/semi-3D visualization from technical drawings.
