3D Animal Animator for Reach of the River

Job ID: 36884206

Budget: $15 – $25 CAD

Blackminnow Games is looking to commission a 3D animator with experience animating quadrupedal animals in Blender to animate mammal characters featured in ‘Reach of the River’, an animal survival and rpg game being developed in Unreal Engine.

Animations need to resemble true-to-life animal movements and reflect a certain quality in fluidity but we are not looking for the absolute utmost attention to detail such as muscle weight or fur physics, to save costs. Rigs were built using Rigify in Blender. Attached gifs reflect the detail we're looking for.

Animations we need include locomotion gates (walking, running, stalking), one-shot actions like attacking, eating and drinking or howling and roaring, as well as idle loops (sitting, laying, standing) and transitions (e.g. lay > stand, land after a jump.) If we work well together, we're also interested in emote animations like tail wagging, play bows, and dance loops.

Characters that currently need animating are a canine (wolf), cervine (deer), and feline.

If this is something that you think you can complete to a high standard, then please get in touch! Amount of work is negotiable and is based on our available budget.
