Ancient Greek Bonfire Area Design - 09/05/2026 16:23 EDT

Job ID: 40431265

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I recently bought a home that came with a small, awkward bonfire spot. I would like to replace it with a fully realised, circular bonfire area that feels both safe and elegantly inspired by Ancient Greece.

Stone is my material of choice; I’m picturing warm, textured blocks that echo classical masonry and naturally resist heat. Around the fire itself, I see low-rise bench seating that invites conversation yet keeps everyone at a comfortable distance from the flames. To bring in the Hellenic touch, the design must feature tasteful engravings or carvings—think simple meander motifs or subtle mythological references cut into the stone seating or a surrounding ring.

You’ll start from photographs of the current space, along with basic dimensions that I will provide. From there I need:
• A scaled plan showing the exact circular layout, seating positions and safe clearance zones
• One or two visualisations (sketch, render or both) that capture the Greek aesthetic and the nighttime ambience
• A concise material and construction note so a local mason can build it exactly as drawn

Please keep the concept practical to build while honouring the ancient style cues. Once I approve the concept, a final drawing package suitable for contractors will complete the job. I’m ready to share photos and measurements as soon as we connect.
