The goal of this project is to create an Interactive 3D Room Simulation System that utilises Point Cloud Data for spatial analysis. The simulation, portrayed as a 3D box, tracks people's movements within a room by utilising sensor data from an imagined ceiling sensor.
Additionally, the system will incorporate an interactive video interface. This function allows users to manipulate the playback of data frame-by-frame, providing a detailed analysis of movement. This interface will receive coordinate data in JSON format, which will be visualised as coloured points within the 3D space to represent movement over time.
The system will also include customised filters to adjust the structure of the point cloud data as well as simulate various room configurations, such as furniture placements. Overall, the project aims to blend 3D modelling and spatial analysis to offer advanced insights into space utilisation.
