Rajkot 2D UI Background Artist
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I run a small game studio a short drive from central Rajkot and I’m expanding the art team with a local freelancer who can jump in right away. The immediate need is polished, detailed-realistic 2D work for two areas of our current titles:
• Screen-ready user-interface elements – menus, HUDs, pop-ups, icons and any micro-interactions that make the game feel alive.
• Scrollable backgrounds and set-piece environment paintings that match the UI’s level of realism and lighting.
Work arrives in sprints, so you’ll receive a clear brief, style guide and reference art each week. I supply wireframes and rough layouts; you turn them into layered PSD or AI files (RGB, 300 ppi) plus flattened exports in PNG. Because our next build is locking soon, I’ll need the first batch of assets approved within days of kickoff, so reliable turnaround is essential.
Preferred toolset is Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator; if you’re comfortable in Clip Studio or Procreate that’s fine as long as you can hand over organised, editable layers. All assets must align to our established colour palette, maintain consistent perspective, and be sized for 1080p and up.
After the first delivery passes QA—clean layers, correct naming conventions, no stray pixels—we move straight into ongoing milestones: additional screens, seasonal reskins and new level backgrounds.
If you’re based in Rajkot, can work remotely yet pop in for the occasional on-site review, and you’re ready to start this week, let’s talk today so we can get the NDA signed and art boards sent over.
