2D PC Puzzle Game
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
I want to build a polished, addictive puzzle game that runs natively on PC. The entire experience should unfold in crisp, appealing 2-D graphics—think clean lines, smooth animations, and an intuitive interface that feels at home with mouse and keyboard.
Core vision
• A series of progressively challenging brain-teasers that reward logical thinking, pattern recognition, and a bit of experimentation.
• A gentle learning curve for the first levels, then steadily increasing difficulty that keeps players engaged without frustrating them.
• A minimal yet memorable art style and a soundtrack that complements long play sessions.
Technical notes
I’m flexible on the engine: Unity, Godot, or another proven 2-D framework is fine as long as it delivers solid performance on Windows PCs. Source code must be well-commented and organized so future updates are straightforward.
Deliverables
1. Fully playable PC build (installer or portable EXE)
2. Source project with assets and documentation
3. Level editor or clearly documented level-creation pipeline
4. Basic settings menu (audio, fullscreen/windowed, key remapping)
5. Two rounds of post-delivery bug fixes
Acceptance criteria
• Runs smoothly on current Windows versions with no critical bugs
• All core mechanics, UI flows, and graphic assets implemented as agreed in the design phase
• Build and project files compile without errors on a clean machine using the specified engine
If you have examples of previous 2-D puzzle titles or prototypes, that will help me gauge style and code quality. Let’s craft something that exercises players’ brains and looks great doing it.
