2D Game Artist Needed

Dark Pyre Interactive is a video game studio based in Kent, England. Run by passionate gamers, we aim to design and develop top quality games that are engaging and fun. We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic freelance 2D Game Artist to join the team on a short-term contract and work on the visuals for a new 2D video game.

Skills:
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in creating 2D designs for games and apps (preferably mobile games)
• Skilled at working with bitmap and vector based graphic design
• An ability to generate quick concepts and realise ideas
• Have a creative and imaginative mind-set
• Eye for composition and colour
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills for working alongside art studios
• Possess an impressive and up to date portfolio
• An understanding of mobile development is a bonus
• Ability to follow existing styles and brand guidelines
• Strong experience using Adobe Illustrator
• Strong experience using Adobe Photoshop
• Experienced producing UX Flows, UI designs using popular online diagramming tools such as Figma, Mockplus, Lucid etc.
• Understanding of the mobile games market and its design and trends
