Fairytale Visual Novel Art Creation - 14/12/2025 13:36 EST

I’m building a small visual-novel experience that should feel as if the reader has stepped straight into a classic fairytale.

To capture that mood I need two art components:

• Character design: turnaround sheets and a handful of expressive poses for four main heroes plus several side characters, all rendered in delicate, storybook line work rather than a hard-edged anime or photorealistic style.
• Background scenes: roughly a dozen locations—enchanted forests, castles, ships—painted to evoke a whimsical, magical atmosphere with soft colours and flowing lines.

I’ll supply full briefs, reference sketches, and scene scripts the moment we start. Source files in layered PSD (or Clip Studio/Procreate equivalents) are required so I can tweak and arrange layers later on. Final exports should arrive in 4K PNG with transparency where appropriate.

Acceptance is simple: if the art aligns with the fairytale palette, fits the scene scripts, and looks polished we are good. I’m happy to review rough thumbnails, then line art, then colour passes so feedback stays painless for both of us.
