Craft Simple, Engaging 2D Game; Choose Concept
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Game Developer Needed – Build a Simple but Addictive 2D Game
Project Type: One-time project
Budget: $150 – $500 (negotiable based on experience and quality)
Deadline: 2–3 weeks
Project Overview
I’m looking for a skilled game developer to create a fun, simple, and addictive 2D game. The game should be smooth, visually appealing, and optimized for both desktop and mobile (preferably Unity or Godot).
I already have several concept ideas, such as:
A “Gravity Swap Platformer” where the player can flip gravity to navigate obstacles, or
A “Campus Survival” simulator where you balance studying, social life, and energy levels.
You can pick one concept to develop — I’m open to your creative input as long as the gameplay is unique and polished.
Core Requirements
Develop a complete 2D game (Unity, Godot, or Java/HTML5 if preferred).
Clean and well-documented code.
Responsive controls and smooth gameplay.
Basic UI (start menu, pause, restart, score display, etc.).
Basic sound effects and background music (royalty-free).
Exportable for Windows + Android ideally.
Optional (Bonus Points)
Leaderboard or scoring system.
Save/progress feature.
Level system or procedurally generated stages.
Nice minimalist art style (pixel art or flat 2D).
Deliverables
Playable game file (.exe / .apk / web build).
Source code + project files.
Short documentation on how to build/run the game.
Ideal Freelancer
Has prior experience with Unity or Godot 2D games.
Creative thinker who can add polish to simple mechanics.
Communicates clearly and meets deadlines.
