# Mobile Game Developer Wanted – Captain Lantus
I'm looking for an experienced mobile game developer or small team to build a fun, addictive **2D side-scrolling platform game** for **iOS and Android**, based on my children's superhero book series, **Captain Lantus**.
The gameplay should be inspired by classic platform games like **Sonic the Hedgehog**, with fast-paced running, jumping, dodging, exploring, hidden areas, collectibles and exciting boss battles.
The unique feature of the game is a **Blood Glucose System**. Instead of a traditional health bar, the player's blood glucose changes during gameplay. Taking damage or hitting sugar hazards raises glucose, while sprinting and special abilities lower it. Players collect **Insulin Capsules** and choose when to use them strategically, while **Glucose Packs** help recover from low glucose. Keeping blood glucose between **4–8 mmol/L** activates **Super Charged Mode**, making the hero faster, stronger and increasing score multipliers. If blood glucose is too high or too low, the hero loses speed, jumping ability and attack power.
Players can unlock and play as **Captain Lantus, Mayor Bolus, Poppy Star and Captain Nova** across **12 levels**, featuring four main bosses: **Carbonite Commander, Hypershock, T1D and King Carb**, with each boss becoming more challenging over three rounds.
The game should be highly replayable with high scores, combos, collectibles, hidden secrets, achievements and leaderboards that encourage players to keep improving.
Artwork, characters, story and the overall game concept are already established. I'm looking for a developer who can bring the vision to life with polished gameplay, smooth controls and a fun mobile experience.
