16-Bit Pixel Art Assets

Job ID: 39894908

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m building a commercial-release indie game set in a contemporary, modern-day world and I need a reliable pixel artist who can deliver a cohesive 16-bit asset pack.

Scope of work
• Character sprites – walk, idle, and basic interaction cycles for player and NPCs, consistent with a classic SNES-era look.
• Environment tiles – modular streets, shop fronts, interiors, and props that loop seamlessly so I can build varied city blocks.
• Icons & UI elements – inventory icons, dialogue boxes, health/energy bars, and menu buttons that match the same palette.

What I’m after
– True 16-bit colour vibe, clean readability at a native resolution of 32×32 or 48×48 per tile where applicable.
– A unified palette so characters and backgrounds sit naturally together.
– Layered PNGs with alpha plus your editable source files (Aseprite, Photoshop, or Pyxel Edit are all fine).
– Two rounds of refinement after initial delivery so we can polish animations and palettes.

If you have shipped similar modern-setting pixel art, please link it in your message. Let me know how many unique sprites and tiles you can cover within this brief and your estimated turnaround.
