Yorkshire Countryside A4 Illustration
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’d like an A4-sized illustration inspired by the classic Yorkshire Tea landscape: rolling dales, dry-stone walls and a sweeping viaduct in the distance. The overall treatment needs to stay firmly in the realistic camp, rich in texture and true-to-life colour.
Key elements to weave in:
• A traditional Yorkshire stone wall where several individual stones are subtly replaced with supplied photographs of us. These photos must sit naturally in the wall, matching lighting and perspective so they read as embedded stone engravings rather than obvious cut-outs.
• Native British birds perched or in gentle flight—think robins, wrens, or a curlew or two—placed so they balance the composition without stealing focus.
• A small yet highly detailed, photo-real rendering of his car and bike tucked into the foreground, sized to feel like part of the scene rather than focal points.
• The famous arched viaduct sweeping across the mid-ground to anchor the Yorkshire setting.
Workflow and hand-off:
1. Rough composition sketch for approval (low-res JPEG or PDF).
2. Colour proof incorporating photos and all requested objects.
3. Final print-ready file at 300 dpi, CMYK, trimmed to A4 with 3 mm bleed plus a separate web-resolution PNG.
4. Layered source file (PSD or Procreate) so minor tweaks can be made later if needed.
I’ll supply reference photos of us, the car, and the bike once we start. Please keep communication open during each stage so colour balance and photo integration feel seamless. Looking forward to seeing how you bring a slice of Yorkshire countryside to life.
