Webcomic Colorist Assistant
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
ATTN: This is a low-pay position; Salary range is fixed-price per episode, based on length. Details below.
SUMMARY:
I am an independent artist working on my first webcomic. I have taken care of majority of the work (writing, thumbnails, line art) but am in need of help with the final touches. THIS IS A PASSION PROJECT. Please understand I am unable to offer bigger pay at this time if you choose to apply.
REQUIREMENTS:
1. Have access to a PC/Computer and graphics tablet
2. Be familiar with and use Clip Studio
3. Understand values and basic lighting
4. Absolutely NO use of AI assistance or generation. Artists only.
DUTIES:
You will take on the role of a Colorist.
1. Fill in inked panels with grayscale, minus "special" moments in the comic which will be full color (I will specify)
2. Revise when requested.
3. Meet deadlines and communicate in an effective manner.
4. Assist in linework if/when needed.
