Vintage Historical Map Series

Job ID: 40025405

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m finishing a history book and need four custom maps drawn in a classic, pre-war style that matches aged paper prints from the 1930s–40s. The set includes:

• a full–page regional map of Germany as it stood in 1933
• a clean outline map of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, still in the same vintage aesthetic
• a county-level map pinpointing specific cities I will supply
• a faithfully redrawn plan of a World War II concentration camp based on an archival image I’ll provide

Each map only has to show the major political boundaries, towns and rivers relevant to the narrative—no need to label every minor road. Clarity, period-appropriate fonts and muted colour palettes are essential so they reproduce well in print at roughly 300 dpi.

I’ll send exact dimensional requirements, reference scans and a short legend for each piece once we start. Source files (Illustrator or layered PSD) plus high-resolution PDFs are the required deliverables.

Please include examples of past historical or vintage-style cartography you’ve completed; seeing how you handle aged textures, serif labelling and balanced line weights will help me choose quickly. I’m ready to move forward as soon as I find the right fit.
