Technical Illustrator Needed for Clean 2D Product Line Drawings
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
We are looking for a skilled technical illustrator or graphic designer to create a set of clean, black and white 2D line art drawings of a wooden product.
We have the original design files ready for you to work with (available in PDF, and Adobe Illustrator formats), so you will not need to draw anything from scratch. Your job will be to use these files to generate a specific set of technical drawings according to the requirements below.
The final deliverables must be high-resolution PNG and Adobe Illustrator formats with a pure white background.
Project Requirements & Deliverables:
You will be required to deliver two complete sets of drawings. Each set will contain 7 different views of the product.
Drawing Set 1: "Shape Focus" Style
In this set, we want to emphasize the shape of the product itself.
- The outer shape of the product (the board and handle) must be drawn with SOLID black lines.
- All of the alphabet characters engraved on the product's surface must be drawn with clean, evenly spaced BROKEN (DASHED) black lines.
You will provide the following 7 views in this "Shape Focus" style:
1. Front View (showing the main alphabet)
2. Back View (showing the vowels and numbers)
3. Right Side View (profile of the board's thickness)
4. Left Side View (profile of the board's thickness)
5. Top Edge View (profile of the board's thickness)
6. Bottom Edge View (profile of the board's thickness)
7. Perspective View (a 3D-angle view of the front)
Drawing Set 2: "Full Detail" Style
In this set, all lines will be solid.
All elements, including the outer shape of the product AND the engraved alphabet characters, must be drawn with SOLID black lines.
You will provide the following 7 views in this "Full Detail" style:
1. Front View
2. Back View
3. Right Side View
4. Left Side View
5. Top Edge View
6. Bottom Edge View
7. Perspective View
In total, you will deliver 14 separate PNG files.
Crucial Quality Requirements:
Line Style: All lines must be clean, precise, and have a consistent, uniform thickness.
Background: The background must be pure solid white (or transparent).
No Extra Details: The final drawings must NOT contain any color, shading, gradients, 3D effects, or wood grain texture. They must be flat, 2D line art.
