I am building a comprehensive Applied AI Playbook for a law firm environment.
The document is an enterprise level strategy and operations manual used by:
Partners
CIOs and COOs
Legal Operations Leaders
AI Governance Committees
It covers:
Law firm economics and matter lifecycle
AI and machine learning foundations
Data governance and pipelines
Model development and deployment
Operational execution
Your role is to design a set of clean, professional, consulting grade diagrams and visuals that integrate directly into a Word based playbook.
These visuals are not marketing graphics.
They are operational and strategic diagrams meant to explain systems, flows, architectures, and frameworks clearly to executive and technical audiences.
2. Visual Style Requirements (Critical)
All visuals must follow this style consistently:
• Professional enterprise consulting look
• White background (so they paste cleanly into Word)
• Minimal text
• No cartoon or playful icons
• No gradients or flashy colors
• Muted corporate color palette (navy, grey, soft blue accents)
• Clean lines, rectangles, and simple arrows
• Plenty of white space
Think: management consulting slide deck quality.
Not startup UI.
Not infographic heavy.
3. Visual Scope
You will be creating approximately 24 core visuals across the playbook including:
Economic flow diagrams
Lifecycle frameworks
System architecture stacks
Data pipelines
Governance loops
Comparison matrices
Simple statistical charts
Model lifecycle flows
Each visual will be provided with:
Figure number
Title
Short description of content
Placement in the document
(Example provided below.)
4. Example Visual Instruction Format
Each diagram will be delivered to you like this:

The Law Firm Economic Engine
Billable Time --> Pricing and Scope --> Staffing Mix --> Billing and Realization --> Collections --> Profit
With overhead layered underneath and leakage points highlighted at each stage.
Design in professional enterprise consulting style, white background, minimal text.
5. Deliverables
For each visual:
• High resolution PNG (for Word insertion)
• Optional editable source file (PowerPoint, Figma, Illustrator, or similar)
All visuals should be consistent in:
Font style
Line thickness
Color usage
Spacing
6. Success Criteria
The visuals should:
• Be immediately understandable by executives
• Reinforce the narrative of the playbook
• Look cohesive as a single visual system
• Feel like they came from a top tier consulting firm
If printed in black and white, they should still read clearly.
7. Timeline (adjust as needed)
Target timeline:
Initial style sample (2 to 3 visuals) for approval
Then full visual set in phases
8. What I Will Provide
I will provide:
• A full checklist of all figures
• Detailed written descriptions for each diagram
• Context from the playbook if needed
Your job is to translate those into clean professional visuals.
The audience is conservative and risk sensitive (law firm leadership).
Clarity beats creativity.
Simple beats flashy.
If unsure between decorative and clean, always choose clean.
Roughly:
40 to 50 major framework diagrams
40 to 60 process flows and pipelines
20 to 30 architecture stacks or governance models
10 to 20 matrices, examples, or charts
The manual has over 70 chapters and sections. The goal is approximately two high value enterprise style visuals per section, focusing on frameworks, process flows, system architectures, and governance models. Total scope will likely be in the range of 120 to 150 visuals.
