Rustic J&E Inlay Concept

I’m designing a small in-neck inlay for a guitar that my daughter and I are building and I need a clean, rustic logo built around our initials “J” and “E”. Because the piece will be cut on a CNC and then inlaid, the artwork must translate to a single-line or very low-detail vector that machines cleanly—with no stray hairlines or micro-details that a 1 mm bit can’t reach.

Style
• Overall mood: rustic, country. Think weathered barnwood more than polished chrome.
• Initials: the J and E should feel naturally tied together—interlocked, overlapped, or flowing into each other. I’m open to an ampersand if it simplifies the shape.

Motifs to explore
We have plenty of old deer antlers lying around and my daughter raises goats and cows, so any of those elements could frame or subtly integrate with the letters. I’m flexible: an antler crown, a minimalist goat horn curve, or even a stylised cow ear tag shape—show me what reads best while staying CNC-friendly.

Deliverables
1. Two or three distinct concept sketches for review (PDF or PNG).
2. Final chosen design supplied as clean, scale-accurate vector files (SVG and DXF).
3. One monochrome rendering to confirm contrast when inlaid with mother-of-pearl or brass.

Acceptance criteria
• No individual feature thinner than 0.8 mm.
• Closed paths only; no fills that rely on shading.
• Fits within a 35 mm wide fret-board space.
