Realistic Muscle Anatomy Illustrations
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m building a comprehensive library of muscle-anatomy visuals and need a skilled illustrator who can give the entire set the same polished, realistic aesthetic. The scope is large—ultimately a few hundred images—so consistency in lighting, color palette, labeling style, and file naming will be critical.
Visual approach
• Style: realistic, but I’m not after ultra-textured photorealism. Think clean, medically accurate forms with enough shading to read volume—moderately detailed without pores or micro-fibers.
• Output: final files in PNG, ready for web and print on transparent or white backgrounds (we can decide per series).
• Subjects: individual muscles, grouped regions, full-body front/back, plus a handful of supplementary poses and cut-aways. I’ll provide a master shot list and any reference schematics.
Workflow
1. Start with a small sample batch (5–6 images) so we can lock down the treatment.
2. Once approved, move in larger batches; I’d like to review every 25–30 images to keep everything aligned.
3. All source files should remain layered so I can adjust labels or background color later.
Deliverables (per batch)
• High-resolution PNG at 3000 px minimum on the longest side
• Layered source file (PSD or equivalent)
• Simple proof sheet showing all new images side by side for quick consistency checks
Acceptance criteria
• Accurate anatomical proportions and muscle placement
• Uniform line weight, shading style, and color harmony across the entire set
• No loss of clarity when scaled down to 600 px wide
