Personalized Cartoon Storybook Art

I’m putting together a one-off “children’s book” page as a surprise gift for an adult friend, and I need a bright, cartoonish illustration that turns a real-life moment we shared into a playful storybook scene.
Please base the artwork on the photo and short anecdote I’ll provide, keeping the likeness of the two family members accurate enough for them to recognise themselves while still embracing an exaggerated, light-hearted children’s-book vibe. Think clean line work, expressive faces, warm colours, and plenty of little background details that highlight the everyday setting.
Deliverables
• 7 double page spread full-colour illustration at A4 size (300 dpi, CMYK) plus cover page
• Layered source file (PSD or Procreate) so text or minor elements can be tweaked before printing
• A flattened high-res JPEG/PDF ready for print
Acceptance criteria: the characters should be immediately recognisable, the style must stay consistently cartoonish without drifting into full realism, and the final file must print cleanly without colour banding.
