Historical Fiction Book Cover Art

I need a fully hand-drawn, non-AI cover illustration for my upcoming historical fiction novel. The story centres on richly developed characters, so the artwork should place them front and centre while evoking the period setting.

2-D work suits the tone I’m after; think clean line art or painterly strokes—whichever best captures authentic period detail without slipping into 3-D rendering or AI-generated effects. A realistic approach is welcome, but I’m open to subtle stylistic flourishes if they help the characters feel alive.

Please avoid stock or AI assets entirely. Traditional media scanned at high resolution or digital illustration created in Photoshop, Procreate, or Illustrator is fine as long as every pixel is your own.
