Vector 2D Maps – Mount Etna & Sicily (Tourism Website)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced freelance graphic designer / illustrator to create a set of clean, minimal, vector 2D maps for a tourism website focused on Mount Etna and Sicily.

This is not a technical or scientific mapping project.
The goal is to produce clear, elegant, tourism-oriented visual maps, all with the same visual style.

Scope of Work – Phase 1
We need three (3) types of 2D maps, all in vector format and with transparent background.

1) Mount Etna – Side Profile Maps (4 maps)
Lateral / side view of Mount Etna
The profile must emphasize the ascent toward the summit area
Clean, minimal, stylized design
Deliverables:
4 maps total
Same Etna base for all maps
Only the excursion route changes

Each map must clearly show:

Starting and ending points
Main points of interest
Vertical development
Approximate route position

2) Mount Etna – Top View Maps (6 maps)
Top / aerial perspective of the entire Mount Etna area

Simplified, non-technical visualization
Deliverables:
6 maps total
Same base map
Only the route changes
Purpose: to give a clear spatial understanding of each excursion.

3) Sicily Maps – Cycle Tourism Routes (2 maps)
2D maps showing the entire island of Sicily
Focus on cycle tourism routes
Same style as the Etna maps
Deliverables:
2 maps total
General Requirements (Very Important)
We need full professional deliverables: AI, SVG, EPS + PNG and PDF exports.
Files must be fully editable and easy to use by non-designers.
Transparent background
Same visual style across all maps
Fully scalable (must work at any size)
Clean paths and professional vector structure

No raster-only files
No technical or scientific maps
Total Deliverables
