Comic Character Painter Needed
Budget: €9 – €999,999,999 EUR
I need a comic-style painter who can blend crisp stencil work with fully rendered, original colour pieces—very much in the spirit of Hergé’s Tintin and early Disney. The goal is a cohesive wall collection for my “White Warehouse” studio: every canvas should burst with instantly recognisable, fun-loving figures drawn straight from the golden age of newspaper strips and Saturday-morning cartoons.
Scope
My line-up spans the whole gang, from Tom & Jerry to the Moomins, plus a few cult favourites such as “Chicken Cock Tales” and “Meat, Fish & Strips.” Expect 8–12 individual paintings on heavyweight paper or primed canvas; roughly 50 × 70 cm each, though I’m open to a 2 × 1 format if that suits your composition. Clean outlines, vibrant flats, and the occasional stencil under-spray are exactly what I’m after.
Workflow
1. Share two quick concept sketches so I can gauge style.
2. After approval we lock the character roster and schedule.
3. Digital colour proofs precede each final hand-painted delivery.
Acceptance criteria
• Characters must be instantly recognisable while avoiding trademarked logos.
• Palette and line weight remain consistent across all pieces.
• Finished surfaces are sealed, flat, and ready to hang.
If your portfolio already shows Tintin-style line work, classic comic book energy, or bold stencil art, send me a message and let’s paint these icons back to life.
