Classic School Logo in Neutrals

I need a fresh yet timeless emblem for our school that feels as though it has always belonged on our gates and letterheads. The design should lean firmly toward a traditional, classic look rather than anything trendy or whimsical. A stylised illustration of the school building sits at the heart of the concept; think clean, confident line work or a subtle engraving effect that communicates heritage without clutter.

The colour palette must stay within neutral tones—warm greys, charcoals, off-whites, perhaps a muted taupe—so the mark reproduces elegantly on uniforms, stationery, signage and our website. No bold primaries or pastels; the restraint of neutrals is essential.

Usage spans print and digital, so I will need both a stacked and a horizontal lock-up. Please keep legibility at small sizes in mind.
