Children’s Book Cartoon Illustrations Needed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have written a square-format children’s book (8.5" x 8.5") that guides young readers through the mixed emotions that come when a parent is critically ill. I now need roughly twenty full-page illustrations to bring each scene to life.
Here is what I’m looking for:
• Style: warm, cartoonish drawings that feel authentic—kid-like line work is welcome and even encouraged.
• Mood: some pages are playful and hopeful, others tender or reflective, so the art must comfortably span that blend of emotions.
• Colour: please shift the palette to match the scene—bright splashes during light moments, softer or muted tones when the story quiets down.
For every page I will send a short written brief describing the action, setting, and key details to include. Final art should be delivered as print-ready 300 dpi PNG or layered PSD files sized exactly 8.5" × 8.5" with a safe margin for bleed.
I will credit the illustrator on the cover and in the author information section. Because this book centers on serious illness, anyone who is personally living with chronic or critical health challenges—or a child who would like to contribute their drawings—will receive priority consideration.
