I’m putting together a bright, engaging children’s book for toddlers aged 1-3 and I need a talented illustrator who loves working in a playful, cartoonish style. The story is simple, filled with friendly characters, bold shapes, and big emotions—perfect for little readers who are just discovering books.
Here’s what I have in mind: each spread should feel lively and easy to read from across a room during story time. Strong lines, vibrant colours, and clear expressions are essential so tiny eyes can instantly recognise what’s happening on the page. I’ll supply the manuscript, page notes, and any character references you need; your job is to breathe life into those words with appealing artwork that keeps a toddler’s attention from cover to cover.
Deliverables
• Full-colour illustrations for every page (cover and interior) in high-resolution print-ready format (CMYK, 300 dpi, layered PSD or AI)
• A separate set of flattened RGB images suitable for e-book conversion
• All final files neatly named, organised, and handed over with full usage rights
