Breakaway Wall Drawing Needed

Job ID: 38771033

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

We are seeking a skilled engineer or architect to create a breakaway wall drawings submission. A ground floor plan that incorporates engineered breakaway construction techniques. The plan must clearly depict the framing for doorways and windows, ensuring compliance with the standard. The selected candidate should have experience in structural engineering design and a solid understanding of breakaway walls.

A few typical breakaway wall "types(fastener layout)" based on pile/support spacing 8 ft, 10 ft, etc. Interior partition type (not up against pile) One at ea. opening type (a few total for garage, man door, and windows).
Hatching or differentiate wall types on plan and add details for each condition and notes for these types.
I'm not too concerned with the wall design itself more with the documentation (plans, details, notes).
Just need to meet the FEMA standard. Stick with
10-20/17-33 psf and utilize the table where you can.
For the prescriptive method the design loads are based on 1.3.1. While the prescriptive design doesn't address support spacings other than 8, 10, 12 I figure you can interpolate if you want to make it easier.
While the wind loads have the potential to slightly exceed the wind load (10-33 psf, LRFD) when you consider components and cladding. Also MWFRS is 126 mph vs 120 mph, but I think let's just keep
So we would have a few different wall types based on pile/support spacing, then partition, garage, man door, and windows. Add notes for windows and door nailing with a couple details.

If you have a portfolio showcasing similar work, we would love to see it!
