AutoCAD Residential Electrical Plan

Job ID: 40288232

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I have fallen behind on my final assignment for Electrical Drafting and need a complete residential electrical plan produced in AutoCAD. The project starts from a blank slate—there are no existing architectural backgrounds—so the drawing must first lay out a modest-sized home with at least three well-proportioned bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, living room, and laundry room. A clean title block needs to sit on the right-hand margin of every sheet.

Once the floor plan is set, the electrical layer has to follow NEC requirements throughout. This means accurate placement and clear labeling of all receptacles, switches, lighting fixtures, and circuit paths, with attention to safety clearances and code-mandated spacing. I also need a logical circuiting scheme that feeds into a properly formatted panel schedule.

Please include a bill of materials that lists every device, fitting, and conductor by quantity and specification, organised so a class instructor can check it quickly.

Deliverables
• AutoCAD DWG showing the scaled architectural floor plan and complete electrical layout
• PDF plot set ready for printing
• Bill of Materials (spreadsheet or table) with part numbers, descriptions, and counts
• Panel schedule detailing circuit numbers, breaker sizes, wire gauges, and load descriptions

Acceptance will be based on: adherence to the room mix above, NEC compliance, clarity of labeling, professional drafting standards, and completeness of the BOM and panel schedule.

It's very basic project for frequent AutoCAD users.
