12x16 Wooden Ramada Plans

My backyard calls for a 12’ × 16’ ramada built from rough-cut, stained pine and capped with a corrugated steel roof in a mountain-craftsman style. To move from sketch to reality I need complete documentation—both 2D drawings and a 3D model—that a contractor and the county permit office can rely on.

Scope
• Floor framing, posts, beams, rafters, purlins and hardware must be fully dimensioned.
• Joinery details (lag bolts, carriage bolts, any mortise-and-tenon work) and the exact lumber sizes/grades belong in the drawings.
• The roof plan must show panel layout, pitch, overhangs, fastening pattern and flashing.
• A materials schedule/cut list should list every stick of pine, every bracket and every fastener.

Deliverables
1. PDF sheet set: plans, elevations, sections, enlarged details.
2. Editable CAD files (DWG/DXF).
3. A navigable 3D model in SketchUp, Revit or a comparable format.
4. Bill of materials with quantities and notes on stain/finish.

Acceptance
• All pieces labeled, dimensioned and cross-referenced.
• Drawings clear enough for a builder to price and for a permit reviewer to approve without follow-up questions.
• One round of revisions included for minor tweaks.

Turnaround is flexible but sooner is better so the project can break ground this season. Share any examples of similar timber structures you have drafted, and I’ll supply my hand sketches and site photos as soon as we connect.
