Utility Patent Line Illustrations
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I’m finalising a UKIPO utility patent application for a novel phase-change refrigeration and quenching system and need a professional illustrator to produce formal black and white line drawings to UKIPO standards.
The system comprises a closed-loop refrigerant circuit with a condenser, atomiser, solenoid, vacuum chamber, quenching line, and Peltier-assisted cold plate. I’ve already created clear draft schematics (JPEGs) for all four figures and only require them to be redrawn cleanly and consistently in the correct patent format.
No 3D, shading, or perspective work is required, these are sectional and schematic utility drawings with consistent line weight, reference numbering, and directional flow arrows.
You’ll receive my labelled sketches, component list, and figure descriptions at the outset. I’m available for a short call or message exchange to confirm geometry and flow routing before you start.
Accuracy and formal compliance are the priorities; artistic style is not. Prior experience producing UKIPO or EPO utility patent drawings is essential.

Deliverables
Four figures, each on a separate A4 page:
Fig. 1: System overview showing phase-change induction, vacuum chamber, and condenser.
Fig. 2: Condenser with microchannels or thermally conductive structures.
Fig. 3: Cross-section of the bottom chamber with Peltier grid and microchannels.
Fig. 4: Multi-stage condenser configuration (stacked plate layout).
Drawings must include component numbering (1–10, plus 1A–1C, F1–F6) and flow direction arrows with a legend.
Vector-quality PDFs ready for direct submission to the UKIPO.
Editable source files (AI, DWG, or DXF) for future revisions.
...
Notes
Use uniform thin black lines (~0.3 mm), Arial-style text, and standard UKIPO formatting.
Each figure should have its title beneath it (e.g., “Fig. 1 – System overview showing phase-change induction, vacuum chamber, and condenser”).
Layout should be clean, consistent, and uncluttered.
...
Please include:
Examples of past patent drawings you’ve completed.
Typical turnaround time and total cost (fixed or per figure).
