I need a straightforward PCB laid out that lets me drop-in one electromechanical relay where my existing board is laid out for another. The task is purely mechanical/electrical adaptation—no signal conditioning or extra components—just clean, reliable pin-to-pin routing so I can “hot-swap” the two relay footprints without touching the main board.


Both the Omron G6K-2F-Y DC5 and the Teledyne 712D-5/G are electromechanical relays. Unlike solid-state or reed relays, they use an electromagnetic coil to physically move mechanical contacts to switch circuits.

Specifically, they are classified as:

Low Signal / Telecom Relays: Designed for switching low-level signals (typically up to 1A).

DPDT (Double Pole Double Throw): Both have a "2 Form C" contact arrangement, meaning they can control two separate circuits, each with its own set of normally open and normally closed contacts.

Project Description: I need a small PCB interposer designed to adapt a standard through-hole signal relay footprint to a circular TO-5 relay package.

Technical Specifications:
- Bottom Interface (Male/Pins): Must match the footprint of an OMRON G6K-2P-Y DC5 (Through-hole). This side will utilize pin headers or long-tail pins to plug into an existing Omron-style socket or PCB.
- Top Interface (Female/Socket): Must accept a TELEDYNE 712D-5/G (TO-5 circular 8-pin "can" package).
